Taekwondo girl from NAO wins in Bishkek

From July 24 to July 31 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the GTF Taekwondo World Championship and Championship took place. The Russian national team included an athlete from the Nenets district Daria Toyguzina. The girl returned home with three medals and the fulfilled standard of the master of sports of the Russian Federation, the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug reports.
Competitions were held among men and women, juniors and juniors 15-17 years old, boys and girls 12-14 and 10-11 years old. The strongest athletes from 27 countries gathered to compete for prizes. The Russian national team was represented by 163 athletes.
Daria Toyguzina, a pupil of the Trud Olympic Reserve Sports School, won first place in the Hyeng discipline (formal complex) in the individual championship, and the girl won two more silver medals in the Massogi (sparring) and Point Stop disciplines. Also, the young athlete fulfilled the standard of the master of sports of the Russian Federation.
The governor of the NAO Yuri Bezdudny congratulated the girl on her victory.
– Our pride is Dasha Toyguzina, who became the GTF Taekwondo World Champion. In addition to the gold medal, Dasha also brought two silver medals.
