Taekwondo athletes from Kabardino-Balkaria were selected for the Russian Championship

The North Caucasus Federal District Taekwondo Championship (WTF) took place in Nalchik. About 150 juniors and junior girls aged 15-17 from all regions of the North Caucasus took part in it.
According to the results of the tournament, taekwondo athletes from Kabardino-Balkaria won 14 medals, reports the press service of the republican government.
The gold medal winners were Elina Thamokova (42 kg), Kambulat Huseynov (45 kg), Kantemir Bitsuev (63 kg) and Astemir Gubzhokov (73 kg).
Silver medals were won by Diana Ivanova (42 kg), Liya Vakasheva (52 kg), Amelia Atalikova (59 kg), Darina Asanova (+68 kg) and Damir Guseinov (59 kg).
Bronze medalists: Victoria Fomenko (46 kg), Kamilla Sharifova (52 kg), Daria Tramova (68 kg), Salma Khadzhieva (68 kg) and Kazbulat Kazanchev (63 kg).
The winners of the competition received tickets to the Russian Championship, which will be held from March 14 to 20 in Ruza, near Moscow.
It was previously reported that a native of Kabardino-Balkaria won bronze in the discus throw.
