The Svyaznoy chain of stores, which is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, notified its employees that it could no longer pay their wages on time. Two of its employees told Vedomosti about receiving such a letter from the company’s management. In a letter, the company’s management explained this by blocking the company’s bank accounts by bailiffs.
“Currently, due to the closure of the company’s salons and the lack of the necessary cash proceeds from doing business, there are no funds in the bank accounts of Set Svyaznoy LLC in the amount that allows for timely settlement with the company’s employees,” follows from a letter to employees, the text of which was read “Vedomosti”.
