Cluster munitions,” the meeting participants emphasized. The Kremlin received Private Ivan Kalashnikov, Corporal Alexey Ivliev, Private Vyacheslav Tarasov and Senior Sergeant Viktor Khamaganov, who showed heroism in battle.
“Of course, this is one of the iconic, good examples of courage and heroism,” Vladimir Putin said during the conversation. – I understand that when there is a battle, no one thinks about it, you probably only think about how to work in a combat sense, how to repel an enemy attack. But you did it exactly as they call it today, after it became known, and this is exactly what it is – this is heroism in the literal sense of the word.
At the beginning of the reception, all those present, at the suggestion of the president, honored the memory of the front-line comrades who died in this battle with a minute of silence.
