A SVO participant living in Nevyansk, Sverdlovsk Region, did not receive a salary for a year due to confusion with his last name, first name and patronymic. State Duma deputy Maxim Ivanov reported this on Telegram.
According to the parliamentarian, this situation became known back in July, and he contacted the military prosecutor’s office. The deputy received a response from which it became clear that the payments were not received by the Russian due to the fact that the data of only one of the two servicemen with the same full name were entered into the Alushta database, which is responsible for the logistics of the military. .
Military unit officials did not discover this error, and therefore only one of the SVO participants was included in the base. The second soldier, judging by the accounting documents, did not seem to exist.
Now data about the second serviceman has already been entered into the system and in the near future he will be compensated for all the money he earned, Ivanov noted.
