Every third economically active Russian does not support the draft law on banning childfree propaganda among minors. About 40% of Russians support the initiative. At the same time, there are more men than women among the supporters of the bill. This was reported TASS with a link to a SuperJob survey.

According to SuperJob estimates, 34% of respondents are against the bill, 41% are in favor. “Respondents appeal to the fact that the birth (or non-birth) of children is the free choice of every person, and the state should not interfere in the private life of citizens,” the study says.

According to the service, there are more men among the supporters of the bill. Of these, the initiative is supported by 43%, while among women – 37%. Among people under 34, 25% of respondents support the law.

The ban on childfree propaganda is supported by people with children one and a half times more often than those without children. Among Russians with children, 54% are in favor of the bill. The document is supported by 37% of respondents without children.

September 7 to the State Duma made a bill banning the propaganda of childfree (childfree) ideas among children. Penalties are proposed for spreading such ideas. The authors of the bill believe that the ideas of “childfree” create “circumstances for the depopulation of the population” and form “the basis of destructive social behavior.”
