Only 41 percent of Russians approve of a bill banning the propaganda of the “childfree” idea. A third of the respondents are against such an initiative. These are the results of a public opinion survey conducted by the SuperJob service.
Recall that the bill was submitted to the State Duma in early September. He is supposed to ban propaganda among minors of the ideology of childlessness. Opponents of this bill point out that the birth or not the birth of children is a free choice of a person. And the adoption of such a law is regarded as state interference in the private life of citizens.
Supporters of the initiative, on the contrary, point out that aggressive propaganda of such a way of life will lead to serious consequences for the country, both economic and humanitarian.
It is noted that Russians with children are in favor of the bill more often than those who do not have them. In addition, there are more supporters of the project among men.
