Summer Spartakiad in Vologda will bring together athletes from the Center and North-West of Russia

A grand sporting event will be held in the regional capital from 24 to 28 August. Vologda will become a venue for the XIX Summer Spartakiad of the Union of Cities of the Center and North-West of Russia. Applications for participation came from nine cities. Athletes will compete in six sports.
Medals will be awarded in beach volleyball, basketball, athletics, mini-football, chess and eSports. Meetings will be held at various city sports facilities. According to the preliminary list of participants, athletes from Vologda, Cherepovets, Veliky Novgorod, Vladimir, Pskov, Petrozavodsk, Kotlas, Ivanovo, Syktyvkar will compete.
