The source said that Russian Su-34 front-line bombers have been given the ability to carry long-range cruise missiles.
According to him, the testing of the use of a long-range cruise missile with the Su-34 was carried out as part of a special military operation in Ukraine. It is clarified that these missiles have not previously been used on similar aircraft.
“The rocket and the aircraft have not previously been used in the same complex. This decision increases the variability of use of both aircraft and missiles,” the source noted.
He added that the Su-34 with a long-range missile had already managed to successfully hit a military facility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
