Study: A quarter of Russian residents do not count spending on leisure time

A quarter of Russian residents do not count how much money they spend on leisure, while most of them spend it with family or friends, and 22% spend their free time on social networks. This conclusion was made by experts from Odnoklassniki and the fintech company YuMoney, the agency writes TASS.
According to the survey results, 24% of respondents do not count how much money they spend on leisure, 14% of respondents have amounts ranging from three to five thousand rubles, 11% spend from one to two and from five to ten thousand rubles. Ten to fifteen thousand rubles a month are spent on leisure by 7% of respondents.
24% and 20%, respectively, spend their free time with family and friends. 21% of respondents like to be alone with themselves, 9% of respondents prefer to spend it with their pets. The researchers note that 4% of respondents reported that they preferred communication with artificial intelligence over communication with real people. The majority of respondents – 31% – meet with friends several times a week.
Also, according to the results of the study, 31% of Russians spend their free time at home, 22% on social networks. 14% of respondents choose to walk around the city, 7% spend time in parks, 6% go to the country, 5% go to restaurants and bars.
Approximately every third Russian told researchers that the ideal day off is one that can be spent in bed. 11% prefer to play computer games on such a day. Only 9% of survey participants like to learn something new on weekends, 4% prefer to go shopping.
Only 2% of respondents choose to go on a digital detox during their vacation, that is, they give up gadgets and the Internet.
