Students of the Penza State University will receive summons about the need to arrive at the military registration and enlistment office at the same time as graduation diplomas. This was announced at a briefing by the military commissar of the Penza region Andrey Surkov.
“On the register are those persons from 18 to 27 years old who either passed the draft, or those who did not pass, but they are being trained. And those who did not serve on conscription are not involved in the training camp. They do not have a military specialty. Who did not serve, he is not involved in the training camp. If he passed the military department, then it is considered that he served on conscription. Received a military specialty. If a student is taking a full-time course of study, he is not subject to call for training camps,” said Mr. Surkov (quoted from “Capital.58”).
The regional military commissar clarified that so far there is such an agreement only with Penza State University.
Earlier, in the Penza regional military commissariat, they said that they had begun sending out subpoenas to reserve servicemen so that they would come to the six-day training camp.
