Students of one of the schools in the Tambov region were presented with equipment for hiking and water tourism. The gift was presented to students of the Znamenskaya secondary school.
And it was made by the head of one of the Znamensky enterprises, the general director of Znamensky Dorozhnik LLC Karapet Arakelyan. He bought hiking equipment for the children in the amount of 120 thousand rubles.
According to the regional newspaper “Selskaya nov”, for several years at school, children have been engaged in the orienteering section. This year, within the framework of the program of additional education, the module “Local History and Tourism” began to work. Currently, 12 students are studying this direction.
– When we went to regional meetings, we had to literally collect equipment from the world one by one. Tents, sleeping bags, dishes – you can’t list everything. And here’s a gift! This is an additional incentive for classes, – says Sergei Ovsyannikov, teacher of additional education at the Znamenskaya school.
