Sambo, chess, volleyball: major competitions to be held in Pskov over the weekend

Four sports competitions will be held in Pskov on October 7-9. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the administration of the regional center.
Thus, the volleyball tournament dedicated to Teacher’s Day will be held from 7 to 9 October. Boys born in 2006-2007 and 2008-2009 will compete in the House of Sports. In total, 11 teams from Pskov, Pustoshka, Sebezh, Pechora, Tver, Veliky Novgorod and Kondopoga (Republic of Karelia) will come to the competition.
In addition, on Saturday, October 8, the Pskov Sambo Championship will be held at the Olimp sports complex. Boys and girls born in 2005-2007 will compete in various weight categories.
For two days, chess competitions will be held at the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Ya. Kurbatov. So, on Saturday, October 8, the Pskov Rapid Chess Championship will take place here.
