Steven Seagal’s son spoke about trips to the dacha with his Russian girlfriend

American director Steven Seagal has long ago decided everything for himself regarding relations with Russia. In the last few years, he has been spending a lot of time in our country, periodically attending closed Russian parties with his son Dominic. Dominic is doing business with Russians, his girlfriend is Russian Irene, who works in the media business. Dominic and Irene told us about their relationship.

— Irene, we sometimes see you together at parties. What new is happening in your life with Dominic?

— I always compare this process with a child: he is born, grows stronger… Now we are at a new stage of our relationship, we are becoming closer to each other.

— But what about the notorious difference in mentalities?

“It seems to me that when you love a person, all these formalities go away.” All people are different, and if two formed personalities meet, you need to give in to each other.

— That is, Dominic has an adequate attitude towards the need to negotiate and give in?

– Yes, well, of course, he is a little more adequate than me (laughs).

— You are a businesslike and busy girl. Is Dominic offended that he rarely sees you?

– Actually, I’m not a party girl. I only go to my own events or friends’ events. Dominic and I are absolutely homely in this regard. I work a lot – that’s a fact. But we understand that expressing yourself through work, through business is very cool. And it’s especially cool when someone has a successful project, then we are very happy for each other.

— It’s more or less clear about you, but what’s going on in Dominic’s working life?

— He is engaged in business, we even already have joint plans. I don’t want to give all the details yet, but I can say that the business is related to beauty and health.

—Aren’t you going on vacation? Maybe you already have plans for the New Year?

— I don’t know about my plans for the week, let alone for the New Year. But in general, we have friends in Altai, and I would really like to go there in winter. Dominic and I have already been there, but I would also like winter Altai. I also love skiing, and Dominic too. Although he prefers snowboarding. We haven’t skated together yet, but we really want to. That would be great for the New Year.

– If he goes to America, will you follow him?

“I haven’t thought about it yet, but if I feel good with a person, I always choose the person, not the place.”

— What is it about Russia that Dominic doesn’t really like?

— The absence of his relatives and childhood friends.

— Dominique already knows a lot of Russian words?

– Oh yeah. But they are not all censored (laughs). He learns them himself. In general, he knows a lot of words, I often hear: “Agreed.” Say hello in Russian, and so on.

At this moment, Dominic Seagal himself joined our conversation and hurried to hug the girl with the words: “She is the best.”

— Dominic, we are discussing here that you already know how to speak Russian…

– Well, in fact, so far only basic things like: “Hello”, “Goodbye”, “Where is the bathroom?”, “Can I take this?”…

— How do you and Irene like to spend time together?

— We like long walks on the beach, we like to fish, watch movies together, do some exercises, and we also go to the dacha and go to the bathhouse.

– Maybe you still know how to weed the grass at the dacha?

– Yes. The fact is that my mother showed me all this when I was little. So I’m familiar with dacha duties and can do it quite easily.
