The Russians need to be allowed to spend maternity capital to pay for housing and communal services. So says State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova. With a corresponding proposal, the parliamentarian turned to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
According to Lantratova, the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services since December 1 last year hit first of all the low-income residents of our country. Constantly rising prices for “communal” lead to an increase in debt, people can not cope with the costs. Families with many children who are entitled to large apartments are simply unable to support them, Izvestia cites Lantratova’s appeal to Golikova. Some spend on housing and communal services up to one hundred thousand rubles a year.
The deputy believes that the ability to pay for housing and communal services at the expense of mother capital will free such families from spending for several years ahead.
