Startups of Moscow students entered the top 10 best university projects

Four projects of Moscow students became the winners of the First All-Russian Forum of Startup Studios, which ended in Moscow.
The best included: a student of Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov Maxim Chesnokov with the project “Electrical device of the future”, student of Moscow State University. M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University Alexei Moiseevsky with the project “System of integrated software modeling of quantum computing solutions”, student of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov Anastasia Rychagova with the project “Air purifiers with biofilters for residential premises”, as well as a student of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after. K. A. Timiryazev Bogdan Yakobson with the project “Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensors”.
The Student Startup competition is part of the federal project Platform for University Technological Entrepreneurship. It enables university students to implement their scientific and technical developments with the help of state support and receive a grant in the amount of 1 million rubles for the development of their project.
This year, 50 projects were submitted to the forum, of which ten became winners. When selecting the best of the best, the jury took into account the level of sophistication of the competitive application, as well as the possibility of implementing the project in the region where the student lives. As the organizers of the forum noted, the diversity of startups included in the top 50 proves the potential of Russian science. The implementation of these projects will certainly make it possible to take steps in import substitution in such areas as digital technologies, medicine, new materials and chemical technologies, resource-saving energy and creative industries.
Projects were defended in two stages. First, the students had to make a three-minute presentation of the project, and then answer questions from the jury. According to Ivan Bortnik, adviser to the CEO and founder of the Innovation Promotion Foundation, students need to read more specialized literature in order to develop their business projects more competently.
