A week is left before the New Year, and many popular people have already decorated their homes and set up Christmas trees. MK found the brightest options, well, and star interior designer Anna Kaufman shared her thoughts on how perfect New Year’s beauties are or, perhaps, something should have been changed.

Olga Buzova: the first Christmas tree in the first apartment

Olga Buzova’s Christmas tree has become one of the most discussed this year, because this is the first Christmas tree in the star’s first own apartment. She moved into a new home just a couple of months ago. Of course, specialists installed the beauty, and the designer is a professional, but opinions on the Internet were divided, as always. Some believe that the Christmas tree is like from a fairy tale, others that Buzova went too far with toys.

“Olga’s Christmas tree, although it looks cute, is still a little cloying and overloaded. Too much everything and fluffy, and silvery. Deer figurines especially spoiled the impression. Such toys are placed on Christmas trees as accents in the amount of one or two pieces, while Olya went “all in” and hung needles everywhere with them. The wow effect is gone, but the feeling of congestion remains,” commented the designer.

Philip Kirkorov: a rarity for star guests

From year to year, the artist surprises with incredible New Year’s decorations. This year, he also did not lose face. He has a tree at home more than five meters high. On the Christmas tree, among other things, there are also rare decorations. For Kirkorov, the Christmas tree in the house is not just an ordinary accessory, it is part of the New Year’s performance, New Year’s Eve, which is always attended by colleagues. Kirkorov gathers friends every year. “This year we will have star guests,” Kirkorov confirmed to MK.

As for the design of the Christmas tree, then, of course, everything here is expensive and rich, but, according to the expert, it would be possible not to interfere with everything.

“The Christmas tree of the pop king, as always, is the best: big, decorated, pompous. In my experience. Philip generally does not like trifles. There are a lot of things on his Christmas tree: vintage toys, a flower, icicles, snowflakes. He, as the King of Variety, is excusable, but in a different situation one could call needles and pretentious. Perhaps a more relaxed decor with fewer toys would have looked more thoughtful,” the designer shared her opinion.

Valeria and Artem Chekalina: our response to Strasbourg

Popular bloggers Valeria and Artem Chekalina, according to the designer, surpassed many of our stars by decorating the Christmas tree and the house in the framework of European traditions that are fashionable this year.

“In my opinion, the Chekalins decorated their house almost perfectly. They filled the entrance group with decor with teddy bears. This is how houses in Strasbourg are decorated for Christmas. In general, your home in this way is not so simple – it’s like walking on the fine line of genius and bad taste. Valeria managed to keep a balance: there are few bears, as well as Christmas balls. The decor does not look ridiculous or pretentious. Everything in moderation. The tree inside the house is made in boho style. It has everything: balls, ostrich feathers, stars and even “real” icicles. It looks non-trivial and original, although the number of details could be slightly reduced: due to the abundance of decorations, the Christmas tree itself is not visible, ”says the specialist.

Oksana Samoilova and Djigan: a Christmas tree is not for an apartment

Subscribers are now discussing how long and painstakingly the decorators installed the Christmas tree in Dzhigan’s house. This process lasted two days. “Like our beauty from the heart,” Oksana called on the followers after she posted pictures of the finished Christmas tree on the Web. As the decorator told MK, it would be possible to install such a spruce only if you have a house, not an apartment, since its height is more than four meters.

“A 4.5-meter Christmas tree is amazing in its scale and thoughtfulness. The giant luminous structure is covered with toys in bright colors. Of course, professional decorators took part in its creation, and this can be seen with the naked eye. Most likely, Oksana and Dzhigan were entrusted with hanging the final ball. But in any case, the coniferous beauty deserves applause – there is even nothing to criticize here.

However, some subscribers felt that there were too many luminous balls on the Christmas tree, so the needles themselves were not visible. “But it can be used as a giant lighting fixture,” the subscribers summed up. They were also not too lazy to count the number of balls on the Christmas tree, there were several hundred of them.

Keti Topuria: gingerbread tree under a garland

After the Soloist of the A-Studio group published a picture of her Christmas tree, she was named one of the most “cute” ones on the Internet. Keti decorated the green tree with toys, including gingerbread ornaments. More precisely, this is an imitation for edible products, but it looks absolutely natural. Similar toys, by the way, can be bought on the Internet, but Keti resorted to the services of design specialists.

“The festive tree of the A-Studio soloist looks especially stylish thanks to the gingerbread design,” says Kaufman. “In addition to traditional balls and a shimmering garland, Keti hung toys imitating gingerbread cookies on the branches. Gingerbread houses and little men, mittens and canes look so realistic that you just want to taste them. The only thing I want to modify in the gingerbread tree is the brown monochrome, which looks a bit mournful.”

Ksenia Borodina: Christmas tree for patriots

Ksenia Borodina has never hidden that she is a patriot. Well, when a photo of a Christmas tree from the star’s house appeared on her page on the Web, even the most hardened skeptics were convinced of this. The TV presenter, according to her, decided to make the most unusual Christmas tree, so she chose teddy bears as decor. But this is not what she impressed her subscribers with. Perhaps none of the stars has ever made a Christmas tree in the colors of the Russian flag. True, according to the expert, such a color for a Christmas tree is not the best option. Even if you want to say something with it.

“The color scheme of jewelry is an opaque hint of patriotism, which Ksenia has repeatedly admitted on social networks. At the same time, the coarseness of the decor catches the eye. One of the shades could be safely sacrificed, then the tree would look more collected and not so pretentious. I want to thin out the toys and dilute them with less flashy details. Now the Christmas tree is more like a mountain of toys that they simply forgot to arrange in cabinets,” summed up star designer Kaufman.
