“Sports landscape” will be equipped in the Bitsevsky forest

The local recreational center “Sports Landscape” will be created in the Chertanovo Severnoye district. It will include a part of the Bitsevsky forest with a site on which garages were previously located.

“According to the functional zoning of the territory, the site is located in the health and fitness and sports areas, here you can create areas for quiet and active recreation, as well as games with children. On the territory, we will put in order the paths and the workout area, we will make new sports and playgrounds. They will be located in open areas and delicately fit into the natural landscape,” said Sergei Melnikov, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Capital Repairs.

The site as part of a specially protected natural area is popular among local residents, but is not at all suitable for everyday leisure.

Pavements will be replaced on the park site, benches and trash cans will be installed along them, and bike racks will be equipped. During the renewal of the workout area, parallel bars, a triple horizontal bar, a bench with stops and a Swedish wall will be installed. A children’s playground with climbing complexes in the form of spiders of various sizes will be built nearby. A sports area with a universal frame for functional training and workout will also appear on the territory. From 15 to 20 people will be able to work here at the same time, using different work items. Two panna football pitches will be installed nearby.

It is planned to equip a table tennis court. A special modular wooden cycling track, a pump track, will be built nearby, and a workout area will be equipped. A play area for children will be built with a large net, balance beams and a thematic complex “Game Planetarium”.

On the site at the site of the demolished garages at the address: Severnoye Chertanovo microdistrict, 5, a platform for walking and training animals and parking for 18 cars will be equipped. A toilet was installed near the entrance to the site, and a sports equipment rental pavilion is also planned here.

On the border of the territory, two outdated bridges were replaced, equipped at different times and in disrepair. They also made one new one in place of the previous one, which was completely destroyed. The result is eco-flooring in the same style, which organically fit into the surrounding landscape.
