Russian sports journalist and hockey expert Maxim Lebedev died on November 16 at the age of 55. RB Sport reports this.
Lebedev died in his sleep, after a blood clot had broken off.
Lebedev worked at RB Sport; before that he was an author at Sport Express and Championship. He also hosted the “Hockey Department” show on YouTube.
Lebedev previously experienced serious health problems; in 2017, he was put into a medically induced coma for treatment after a heart attack. When he woke up, he said that he allegedly interviewed the deceased Soviet hockey player and coach Sergei Gimaev during a coma. He asked me to tell you that there is “a lot of hockey” in the next world.
