Sports Alley opened in Novorossiysk

On Thursday, September 14, the Sports Alley was opened in Novorossiysk. A green zone appeared on Lenin Avenue in the area of house No. 97. As part of the celebration, the mayor handed over certificates to the athletes who were honored to be included on the steles of the Sports Alley. Andrey Kravchenko emphasized that Novorossiysk is considered one of the most sporting cities in the Krasnodar region. According to him, 64% of the population regularly plays sports. The politician added that the administration will continue to support the desire of city residents for an active lifestyle and create new sports facilities.
Let us remind you that the decision to create the Sports Alley was made last fall. The construction of the alley was carried out while preserving all the green spaces available in the area. More than 13 million rubles were spent on creating public space and installing sports facilities. Most of the funds were allocated from the deputy fund.
Within the new location, 10 steles were installed with data about 27 athletes and coaches who brought sports glory to Novorossiysk at international competitions. In addition, various sports facilities, comfortable benches, and places for playing chess have been installed at the facility.
