Since 2020, 17 martial arts centers have been put into operation on the territory of Kuban. Issues of design and construction of sports facilities in the region were discussed during a conference call. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Governor of Kuban Alexander Vlasov.
The event was joined by representatives of the regional Ministry of Sports, the construction department, the department of regional state examination of territorial planning projects, construction and engineering surveys, deputies of the Legislative Assembly, heads of municipalities and their deputies. During the meeting, it was noted that in total over the last 4 years, 17 martial arts centers have been put into operation in Kuban. Currently, 27 more facilities are at the design and construction stage, and 14 of them are expected to be commissioned this year.
Alexander Vlasov commented that this work must be completed at a decent level. On behalf of Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, martial arts centers should operate in every municipality of the region in the coming year.
At the moment, martial arts centers are being built within Novorossiysk, Krasnoarmeysky, Kurganinsky, Starominsky, Tikhoretsky, Beloglinsky, Mostovsky, Otradnensky, Timashevsky, Apsheronsky, Novokubansky, Uspensky, Vyselkovsky and Leningradsky municipalities. Deputy Minister of Physical Education and Sports of the region Vyacheslav Nikitin spoke about the degree of their readiness. The heads and deputy heads of the capital of Kuban, Gelendzhik, Goryachy Klyuch, Gulkevichsky, Novopokrovsky, Tuapse municipalities reported on current activities in the design of sports facilities.
