Spiegel: Ukrainian men dress up as women and try to flee the country

In order to avoid new waves of mobilization in Ukraine, men dress up as women and flee the country. Leaving the country is not so easy, they have to give the carriers several hundred thousand euros. This is reported by the German edition Spiegel.
The material says that not all Ukrainians manage to leave the country alive. According to Spiegel, 15 people died during the entire period of illegal transportation.
“Some men are trying to escape from Ukraine in women’s clothes… To leave the country, men pay special agents about 13,000 euros,” the publication says.
The publication also emphasized that many men present to the border guards fake documents demonstrating his unsuitability for military service, or birth certificates of children who do not exist.
It is noted that each Ukrainian border guards catch about 20 men trying to leave the country.
