Spending by Russians on children’s pocket money has been revealed

The majority of Russian citizens (81%) provide their children with pocket money. Writes about this “Gazeta.ru” with reference to YuMoney research.
At the same time, 7% of respondents admitted that they do not give money to their children. Another 5% of respondents are just planning to start giving their children money, the same percentage pay for all children’s purchases on their own, and 2% said that their children have savings from gifts.
In addition, it turned out that 23% of Russians start giving money to children at 6-7 years old, and 22% at 8-9. Another 15% of respondents give money to children from the age of 5, and 14% – from the age of 10. At the age of 11-12, 11% of respondents begin to replenish the wallets of children, and at the age of 13-14 – 10%. And 5% of survey participants expressed the opinion that children should be given money as early as possible.
