The celebration of the 230th anniversary of Krasnodar on City Day will take place without the traditional big concert on the main square, said the mayor of the regional center, Evgeny Naumov.
This year, City Day celebrations took place on September 23 and 24. “I’m sure you’re looking forward to the holiday as much as I am! You yourself know what time we live in. We will start celebrating on a large scale when our guys return from the front. I count on your mutual understanding and wish you peaceful Krasnodar skies,”— wrote Head of Krasnodar Evgeny Naumov.
Instead of the traditional gala concert, Krasnodar authorities are organizing various local events. City Day will begin with the sports event Charging, then a motorcycle rally, a holiday of national cultures, the patriotic festival “City of Heroes”, and the humor festival “Improvisation” will begin simultaneously in different parts of the city. A festival of creative industries and a festival of outdoor sports will be organized for young people.
