The American company SpaceX, owned by entrepreneur Elon Musk, sent space to the US Department of Defense using a Falcon 9 rocket 13 military satellites. The launch was broadcast by the company itself.
It is noted that the satellite constellation, which is being created in low Earth orbit as part of the Proliferated Warfighter program, will detect and track missile launches. In addition, the system will provide “global military communications”.
The rocket was launched from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
It is worth noting that the launch was postponed twice.
