“The film “Vault” was liked by its deep meaning, entertainment, bright characters and an interesting plot. The picture is about choice, life values, about love, repentance and, most importantly, about forgiveness. The film reminds us that a person can find himself in a situation of a very difficult and significant choice that will turn his whole life upside down,” one of the guests of the evening commented on the premiere.

Nine-year-old Nadia (Milana Filimonova) is the daughter of Andrei Savitsky (Ilya Lyubimov), Deputy Minister of Health of the Lipetsk Region, and is fond of theater, books, and music. But after the divorce of his parents, he withdraws into himself and loses interest in the outside world. Her only friend is the mouse Gaston, whom the girl hides in her secret Refuge. Once, at a local theater performance, she sees a young actor Lenya (Suhrab Haylobekov) and asks her father to come to her house “the prince from the play instead of a nanny.” The father immediately fulfills Nadia’s wish and hires Lenya to look after the girl. One day, Lenya and Nadya are left alone outside the city, and the former policeman Stepan (Maxim Drozd) enters the house to kidnap Nadya…

And then there are questions. What drives Stepan: greed, desperation, madness, or a desire to restore justice? What will Lenya choose: risk himself to save the girl or save himself? Is Nadia’s father ready to lose his reputation, career and freedom for the sake of his daughter’s life? Is it possible to break a whole chain of crimes with one good deed? And only at the final credits will the viewer receive – or not receive – answers to these questions.

The film was presented to the guests of the evening in one of the popular cinemas in Moscow by director and screenwriter Vladimir Tikhomirov, screenwriter Timur Algabekov, producers Sergei Savinov and Vera Bazhenova, as well as the film crew of the project.

The premiere was attended by: Ilya Lyubimov, Milana Filimonova, Sukhrab Haylobekov, Nadia Slavetskaya, Dima Miller, Victoria Poltorak, Anita Zaporozhtseva, Sasha Khromova, Ivan Zhvakin, Tina, Artem Semakin and others.

“The idea of ​​our film is the indifference of people towards each other. This is a universal story that will allow you to look at yourself and rethink your attitude towards other people. This is a story about revenge and timely forgiveness, because it is often too late to ask for forgiveness, ”commented the director and screenwriter of the tape Vladimir Tikhomirov.

“There is no obvious antagonist in this story. The viewer will be able to put himself in the place of even the most notorious villain or psychopath. After all, we all want the best for ourselves, for our loved ones. For the sake of this, we can commit small and seemingly insignificant offenses. There he changed, here he snatched a little. And sometimes it’s very easy to tell yourself that you didn’t do anything wrong, that the reason for what happened is not in you. But the truth is that everything is interconnected and life is made up of small things,” added Timur Algabekov, screenwriter of “Shelter”.

“Not only life, but also good cinema consists of little things” – this phrase, which was presented by the cinematographer Anton Safronov, perfectly reflects both our reality and the work on the film “Shelter”.
