“Moskovsky Komsomolets” became an information partner of the anniversary “SMIrotvorets”

On November 28, the names of the finalists of the XV All-Russian competition “Mass Media Creator” were announced in Moscow. “Moskovsky Komsomolets” acted as one of the information partners of the anniversary, 15th “battle” for peace among both media journalists and Runet bloggers, for the best coverage of interethnic and ethno-confessional relations. The awards to the winners in the “Print” and “Internet” categories were solemnly presented by the editor-in-chief of “MK” Pavel Gusev.

In total, 35 media outlets and blogs from 26 regions of the country received the “SMIrotvorets-23” awards. This year, for the third time, the competition considers the work of representatives of not only official media, but also the blogosphere from all 89 regions of the Russian Federation.

This year, the best of the best were selected among the works of authors from 1058 media outlets from all federal districts of Russia. The solemn award ceremony for the winners in the Izvestia Hall concert hall was opened by the head of the national policy department of the Russian Presidential Administration for Domestic Policy, Tatyana Vagina, who read from the stage a greeting to the competition participants from the President of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Putin emphasized that “SMIrotvorets” fulfills an important mission – it serves to strengthen the creative information potential of federal and regional media, increasing their role in competent, responsible coverage of such key, truly strategic issues as preserving ethnocultural diversity in our country, improving interethnic and interreligious relations , affirmation in society, especially among young people, of unshakable spiritual and moral patriotic ideals and values. Participants in the anniversary competition for writing peacemakers also received a written greeting from Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Presenting the awards, the editor-in-chief of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper and the MK.RU Internet portal Pavel Gusev noted how important it is today to notice and celebrate journalists and their work:

– It is important not only to notice, but also to thank journalists for their enormous, courageous and courageous work. Russian journalists, the best of them, also work at the forefront of the North Military District, covering its progress; they are awarded orders and medals, and sometimes, alas, they are awarded posthumously. But they continue to stand for Russia and write only the truth about their country. We not only write the truth, we always think about Russia and go with it – this is the meaning of journalistic skill. Thank you that today we again have the opportunity to reward our best journalists from the regions.

It is especially pleasant that the majority of prizes in 8 competition categories this year (“Print”, “Internet”, “TV”, “Mentors and Traditions” (in honor of 2023, declared the Year of the Teacher), “Ethnosound”, “Children and Youth” Media”, “Blogs” and “Generation Multimedia”) have conquered remote regions of our country – authors from cities and towns of the Far North and Far East, this once again proves that distance and different time zones are not an obstacle to constructive cooperation of all Russian-language media in name of the world.
