Sochi will host the All-Russian GTO Champions Festival

The fourth All-Russian festival of TRP champions (0+) will be held in Sochi. It will take place from April 18 to 22 at the Yug Sport base, reports resort administration.
– Exactly 50 years ago the first USSR All-Around GTO Championship took place in Sochi. It took place at the stadium, which today is located on the territory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “South Sports”. It’s very symbolic that a big sports festival dedicated to the modern GTO complex will take place here,” said Anatoly Miroshnikov, director of the department of physical culture and sports in Sochi.
About 50 teams from different Russian regions that showed the best results in passing the complex standards will compete in different types of relay races, a pair race, and a GTO race. The main event will be the Race of Champions, in which the eight best teams will take part.
A separate program is for individual participants in the “amateur” and “professional” categories. There is a credit among those who show record results in meeting the standards.
