Sochi weightlifter Vyacheslav Yarkin became the winner of the CIS Games

An athlete from Sochi, Vyacheslav Yarkin, won the gold medal at the international competitions of the II Games of the CIS countries, held in Belarus. Yarkin became the best in the weightlifting tournament in the weight category up to 81 kilograms.
In the total of the biathlon, the Sochi resident showed the result of 333 kilograms (155 kg in the snatch + 178 kg). He was 2 kg ahead of another Russian Ramzan Dzhankhotov – 331 kg (156 +175). The bronze medalist of the competition was Nursultan Esbergenov – 328 kg (150 + 178).
Vyacheslav Yarkin is a five-time champion of Russia, this year he won in Novy Urengoy. The athlete is training with his older brother Vladislav Yarkin.
II Games of the CIS countries are held from 4 to 14 August in different cities of Belarus. The Krasnodar Territory sent 28 athletes to the tournament, who will perform in 13 types of the program.
