Sochi judokas won the tournament in memory of the Hero of the USSR

A traditional judo tournament was held in Sochi, dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, military pilot Martiros Nagulyan. The tournament with the participation of athletes under 13 years old was held at the Alexander Karelin sports complex. About 300 boys and girls from different regions of Russia came to the competition, the Sochi Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported.
In the team competition among girls, the hostesses of the competition took first place. Gold medals were won by Suzanna Khostyan in the weight category up to 36 kg and Daria Kozlova (up to 57 kg). The girls are coached by Elbrus Tanduev. Anastasia Kopeikina took second place (up to 52 kg), third place went to Alesya Novosad (up to 36 kg). They were prepared for the tournament by Yulia Verkhoturova. All athletes represent SSHOR No. 27 in Sochi.
Judokas from the Dinsk region took second place in the team tournament, and Armavir took third place.
Among the boys, the Sochi team took second place in the team. The Anapa team showed the best result here, Armavir took third place.
The competition in memory of Martiros Nagulyan took place for the 36th time.
