Sobyanin spoke about the comprehensive modernization of the Botkin hospital

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, in a publication on his Telegram channel, spoke about the continuation of large-scale work on the overhaul of the buildings of the Botkin Hospital.
“Repair and restoration work has been completed in the surgical building No. 9, and building No. 20, which will house the city urological center, is 92% ready. Work began in two more buildings – No. 2 and No. 10. The second will have therapeutic, pulmonological and radiological departments. The tenth building will house the scientific and academic building, where 24 departments of leading medical research centers and universities will be transferred,” the mayor wrote.
As the head of the capital noted, both buildings have the status of objects of cultural heritage, therefore, not only repair, but also restoration work is being carried out in them. According to the mayor, the completion of the overhaul of these buildings is scheduled for the second half of 2024.
Sobyanin also added that after a comprehensive modernization in 2020-2022, a hematology building, a palliative building, a surgical building No. 7, an outpatient oncological care center, an endoscopic center, a nephrology center and a catering unit were also opened at the Botkin Hospital.
