Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, in an interview with RIA Novosti, said that he did not feel a shortage of personnel in any of the areas caused by the partial mobilization of the capital’s residents.
“I do not know such a question, to be honest,” said the mayor of the capital.
According to him, he only “heard” or “read somewhere on the Internet” fears due to the fact that “now, during mobilization, everyone will leave” and there will be a shortage of personnel.
“I do not feel this deficit in any industry. Everyone is working normally,” Sobyanin said.
The mayor also said in this interview that “the unemployment rate in Moscow is minimal, it is almost non-existent.”
He named a figure of 0.4% and noted that if we take the population of the city and labor resources, then the surplus of jobs is about 2.5 million people.
Sobyanin also said that the number of jobs in Moscow will be maintained in proportion to the growing population of the city.
