The introduction of martial law in the four new territories of Russia will not cause any measures that change the normal routine of life in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
“At the same time, I must say that at the present time no measures are being introduced to limit the normal rhythm of the city’s life,” Sobyanin stressed.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he was declaring martial law in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. He instructed Sobyanin to ensure the coordination of the regions for interaction with the Moscow center when creating the territorial defense headquarters.
Previously reportedthat martial law is introduced from midnight on 20 October. In three days, the government should receive a list of measures to be taken in the new territories.
