Girls of the capital will compete for the title of the best programmers

Two Moscow schoolgirls and two students of metropolitan universities are taking part in the Second European Olympiad for Schoolgirls in Informatics, which started in Antalya (Turkey). According to the rules of the Olympiad, girls up to 20 years old can participate in it.
The team included: Daria Grekova, a ninth grade student of the Physics and Mathematics School No. 2007, Ekaterina Hossein, an eleventh grade student of School No. 179, Ekaterina Poray, a 1st year student of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and Vladislava Sinitsyna, a 1st year student of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. Girls participate in the Olympiad remotely, being at the base of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. The competition is controlled by proctoring – this is a procedure for monitoring the progress of a remote test using video surveillance systems.
The Olympics will last until October 23.
By the way, the first European Schoolgirls Olympiad in Informatics was held last year in Zurich, Switzerland. Then the members of the Russian team won four gold medals.
