Sobyanin noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his message to the Federal Assembly, announced the decision to form common approaches regarding the material support of all participants in the NWO, regardless of their status.

“The approach to helping their families should also be the same. Therefore, I signed a decree on the extension of social support measures to the families of contract servicemen and volunteers – participants in the Special Military Operation, ”said Sobyanin.

Families of contractors and volunteers will now be able to receive a monthly child benefit in the amount of 100% of the child’s subsistence minimum and a one-time allowance for young parents in a simplified manner. Children of such citizens will be able to enroll in kindergartens upon reaching the age of 1.5 years out of turn, they will also be exempted from paying for attending city and municipal kindergartens.

Students in grades 1-11 will be able to receive two hot meals a day free of charge, and college students – a one-time meal. Schoolchildren in grades 1-6 will also be enrolled first of all in extended day groups. Classes in circles and sections of additional education in schools and institutions of additional education will become free for children of participants in the SVO.

Elderly relatives of military personnel participating in the special operation, disabled people of groups I and II, as well as families raising disabled children, will be able to count on social services at home, regardless of composition and without regard to the level of family income. They are also eligible for priority referral to veterans’ homes and other residential social service institutions, regardless of family composition.

For the wives of SVO participants and their children of working age, there is now a support measure related to the organization of additional professional and additional professional education, as well as assistance in finding a job.

All family members of contractors and volunteers will also be able to receive psychological assistance, legal advice, as well as assistance in obtaining social and other payments, social support measures.

Earlier today, Putin during his address to the Federal Assembly announced new support measures for everyone who works for victory – participants and veterans of hostilities, defense industry workers. First of all, he announced the creation of a special state fund for targeted assistance to veterans of the special operation and the families of the victims.

The task of the fund will be social support for such citizens: providing medical, psychological assistance, assistance in finding employment, developing entrepreneurship, improving skills, organizing long-term care at home, etc. Each veteran will be assigned a personal social worker. The structures of this fund should be deployed in all regions by the end of 2023.

In addition, Putin proposed to establish a vacation of 14 days every six months for all military personnel, so that each of them would have the opportunity to visit their families.
