Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced quarantine in several districts of the capital due to bird flu. The corresponding decision is contained in the order signed by the mayor, which refers to the establishment of restrictive measures on the territory of Moscow.
IN document the territory of the epizootic focus, the threatened zone (included more than ten districts of Moscow), as well as the observation zone, which includes the metropolitan area adjacent to the threatened zone, were determined.
For the quarantine period, a number of actions are prohibited in the epizootic focus, in particular, the treatment of sick birds, visiting the outbreak zone, the import and export of birds, eggs, etc.
Measures were taken in connection with the detection of a case of wild birds with highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Brateevo metropolitan area.
