The hippodrome of the capital will be restored and, thanks to the reconstruction, will become one of the best in the world. Such a statement was made by Sergei Sobyanin in his blog.
“And this year we are starting a serious reconstruction. This will be one of the best hippodromes in the world,” the message says.
At the same time, the mayor noted that the whole ideology of the hippodrome as an equestrian center will not change. Sobyanin stressed that the place for the horses and the facility itself will be reconstructed at the highest level. The mayor also clarified that the change in the location of the horsemen is only temporary.
According to the mayor, now controlling stakes in the hippodrome have been transferred to Moscow on behalf of the head of Russia.
