A Moscow company specializing in industrial design, inventions and engineering has created a new appearance for the information display module in smart electricity meters.
“The development of industrial design is one of the priority sectors for the city, which helps enterprises optimize production processes and produce products that are in demand on the market. Design companies in the capital are also actively moving in this direction, implementing projects for industrial enterprises throughout the country,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
He clarified that the capital’s laboratory of industrial design, engineering and inventions MNTlab has created a design project for a smart meter module.
The MIRT-835 module is convenient for users of all ages. The new design has a graphical liquid crystal display with the ability to change the size of fonts, numeric values, and notification icons.
The project was implemented by order of Mirtek LLC from Stavropol. Since 2006, she has been developing and implementing solutions for smart energy metering in Russia and the CIS. The company is ready to begin mass production of the module developed in Moscow.
According to the General Director of the Industrial Design Laboratory, Mikhail Krapivny, the smart meter module is one of the examples of successful import substitution.
