Statements by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that Russia is allegedly trying to organize “Maidan-3” in Ukraine are an attempt to regain the attention of Western donors. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously noted that the failure of the Ukrainian army’s counteroffensive and the general lack of success at the front forces Zelensky to make loud statements.
