SKIF handball players held the last pre-season tournament – the Cup of the Southern Federal University. In Rostov-on-Don, the trophy was played by 2 teams of the Super League and the Major League.
Krasnodar won 2 wins in 3 matches. In the opening match against the Volgograd “Kaustik”, who flew out of the Superleague at the end of the last season, SKIF quite unexpectedly lost with a score of 32:35.
On the second day, Krasnodar defeated another representative of a lower league – DSTU-Leader (Rostov-on-Don). Match score 40:24 in favor of Dmitry Karlov’s team.
On the final game day Krasnodar defeated the Don Cossacks representing Taganrog in the Super League.
