An athlete representing the Arkhangelsk region, Natalya Nepryaeva, won a confident victory in the 50-kilometer marathon at the Russian Championship. The races took place in Apatity, Murmansk region. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Sports.
In the mass start at a distance of 50 km freestyle Natalya Nepryaeva finished with a winning result – 2 hours 2 minutes 42.2 seconds.
Skier of the Arkhangelsk region Svetlana Zaborskaya took sixth place.
In the men’s mass start at a distance of 70 km freestyle in Monchegorsk, a skier from the Arkhangelsk region Alexei Shemyakin took 11th place.
