SKA forwards Alexander Kadeikin and Mikhail Vorobyov spoke about the team’s preparation for the second round of the playoffs and gave a characterization of the opponent, Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist.
On Wednesday, SKA held an open training session for fans, after which the players and head coach Roman Rotenberg spoke at a press conference.
“It is clear that Avtomobilist is a good organized team with strong first lines. A bad team would not have beaten Ak Bars with a score of 4:1. We respect our opponent, but we have our own plans. We push away from them. We don’t plan to give the series to anyone,” Kadeikin said.
“The main thing is to approach the match on March 17 in optimal shape and try to start the series with a victory. Then we will prepare for the next games. First we need to take the first match,” added Vorobiev.
On March 17 and 19, SKA and Avtomobilist will play at the SKA Arena. Next, the series will move to Yekaterinburg.
