Six Ukrainians of military age who illegally crossed the Moldovan-Ukrainian border demanded asylum in Moldova. The press service of the Border Police of the Republic writes about this.
The department reported that five men were arrested near the village of Tokuza. During the inspection, it was revealed that the detainees, aged from 24 to 37 years, have Ukrainian citizenship. Another foreigner was found in the village of Seits, he admitted to illegally crossing the border.
The Ukrainians were taken to the General Inspectorate for Migrant Affairs.
The departure of men aged 18 to 60 years from Ukraine during the period of martial law is limited.
