Finance Minister Anton Siluanov spoke about the UN resolution on reparations to Ukraine. According to him, it has no legal force and will not continue.
“This resolution has no legal force. Therefore, we regard this as a purely political statement that will not be continued, ”he said on the air of Rossiya 1.
Recall, the UN General Assembly previously adopted a draft resolution on reparations to Kyiv by a majority vote. 94 countries voted for the adoption, 14 voted against, 73 abstained. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin did not agree with the resolution providing for Russia’s financial responsibility for hostilities in Ukraine.
