An armed man illegally crossed the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, the incident was recorded by a camera at the Slovechno railway checkpoint in Belarus, informed border committee of the republic in its Telegram channel. The Ukrainian military continues to carry out provocations at the border, the border committee said.
The incident took place on the afternoon of Saturday, November 19. The published video shows how the armed man moves towards the border, which runs along the center of the railway bridge. The man illegally crossed the border and entered the territory of Belarus, the press service reported.
“While on Belarusian territory, the Ukrainian serviceman took photos and videos of the area, and also searched for or installed something in the snow,” the border committee said, adding that verification activities were being carried out on this fact.
In Belarus, they believe that such provocative situations arise due to the “low discipline” of the Ukrainian forces and can lead to an armed clash.
