The Shuvalov building of Moscow State University (MSU) is being transferred to distance learning from May 12 to May 26 due to a detected case of measles. This was reported “RIA News” with reference to the order of the rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy.
As follows from the document, students and employees who have not been in contact with a student with measles, as well as twice vaccinated or recovered, will be able to visit the Shuvalov building and take part in face-to-face events for the state final certification.
According to the order, students of additional education programs, as well as students of circles located in the Shuvalov building, are also transferred to distance learning.
In the Shuvalov building of Moscow State University there are faculties of political science, public administration, historical, philosophical faculties, the Higher School of Cultural Policy and Management in the Humanitarian Sphere and the All-University Center for Art and Natural Collections.
On the eve of RBC with reference to the Moscow department of Rospotrebnadzor reportedthat a student of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University was found to have measles. Later, TASS, citing a source, wrote that the Shuvalov Corps would be transferred to distance learning.
Earlier in May at Moscow State University for distance learning translated students from the faculties of computational mathematics and cybernetics, space research and teacher education due to measles. In April, students of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after V.I. I. M. Gubkin and one of the buildings of the Russian Technological University.
