Shoigu spoke with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held talks with his Chinese counterpart Dong Jun.
Shoigu congratulated Dong on his appointment, and he also expressed confidence that Moscow and Beijing will expand military cooperation.
“Russian-Chinese relations in the military field are steadily developing in all directions. We regularly conduct joint operational and combat training activities on land, sea and in the air,” he noted.
Shoigu also said that cooperation between Russia and China is not directed against other countries.
