Putin appointed a new prosecutor of Sevastopol – Kommersant

New prosecutor of Sevastopol became Andrey Shevtsov, who previously worked in Samara. The corresponding decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin was published on the official website of the head of state.
Mr. Shevtsov previously worked as a prosecutor in Samara. Since February 2022, he has held the position of Amur Basin Environmental Prosecutor. In law enforcement agencies – since 1997.
Andrey Shevtsov replaced Maxim Zhuk in Sevastopol, who was appointed prosecutor of the Tver region. Over the past ten years, the fourth prosecutor has been replaced in Sevastopol.
