Photographer Alexander Popov demanded to recover 1.4 million rubles from the leader of the Leningrad group, Sergei Shnurov, for the illegal use of a photo of the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft.
According to RIA Novosti, the Moscow Arbitration Court accepted for consideration the claim of a famous photographer who saw his picture of an airplane in the video for the song “Our Economy”. The photo was used without the consent of the author.
It is known that initially the photographer tried to settle the dispute out of court and sent a claim to the group. The video was re-uploaded, but with a blurred photograph of Popov. However, this solution did not suit him.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for July 4.
