Sharya badminton players became the best at the regional championship

On March 23, in Sharya, the results of the regional badminton championship were summed up, the participants of which were young athletes born before 2008.
The tournament was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the founding of our region. Five districts sent their teams, and all the leading badminton players competed in the senior category.
In the men’s singles, all the prizes go to the Sharya team. Denis Shevelev climbed to the first step of the podium. In the men’s doubles, Sharya’s representatives were also awarded four first places. On the first – Artur Karbasov and Artem Fedoseev.
Among the best singles among girls are Sharya athletes Nastya Kruglova and Liza Pavlova. In mixed doubles, Denis Shevelev and Ulyana Krutikova won.
By a large margin in the team championship, representatives of Sharya are in first place with 1,675 points, Kostroma is in second (704 points) and Sharya district is in third (408 points).
